  • OPENING FUNNY: We all know first impressions matter. We will teach you the secrets to creating an immediate connection by getting laughs in the most important part of your speech: the first 90 seconds.
  • DON’T STOP HALF WAY TO BE FUNNY: We’ll show you how to take your humor writing to the next level by creating alternate punchlines and polishing them so that they have the most impact.
  • WORKING YOUR CREATIVE HABIT with Observational Comedy. Using systems we teach you, you will learn how to see premises for humor out in the world, and develop them into relatable jokes that will elevate your stories and deliver more punch to your speeches.
  • BASIC BRUSH-UP: Fundamentals rule, so we will also hit the basics of joke structure and creating lists that lead to jokes.

Event Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refunds for cancellation will be made on the following basis: A full refund, less a $50 processing fee, will be granted if requested 31 days prior to live event. If cancelling within 30 days of live event, registration credit will be given towards any future Stage Time University Live Event. Credits on LIVE events expire after 1 year of cancellation. Cancellations must be made via email to support@stagetimeuniversity.com. No refunds or credits will be granted for no-shows. Because of travel and other expenses, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any live event that does not have a minimum of 10 participants. This SELDOM happens, but if it does, registrants will be notified immediately, and rescheduled, refunded, or given credit for a future event for the amount originally paid for this event.
